Under the Free OPD scheme, introduced by our Chairman cum Managing Director, we provide free pediatric OPD consultation to 10 children per day who belong to the financially weaker section of the society. The Free OPD scheme runs 3 days a week with an aim to extend our services towards those who might have financial constraints.

Ultrasound and Ambulance

Since 2013, our hospital has been providing free ambulance services and ultrasound services for all the pediatric patients. The service is made available to all OPD and IPD patients, the cost of which is entirely borne by the hospital. The ambulance is well-equipped with full life support appliances, including monitor, O2, ambubags, etc. For time being, the service is available within Imphal city only.

Our free ultrasound service, dedicated to our neonates and children, also ensures immediate availability of reports whenever possible, and free consultation with the radiologist.

Cashless Admission & Concessions

At MCCHRC, we do not charge any deposits at time of admission of the patients. We ensure that the child receives primary attention. We also offer 30% concession from the total surgery charges to patients whose parents/guardians are BPL (Below Poverty Line) card holders. Under certain circumstances when the parents/ guardians had been unable to provide BPL card but are financially unstable, under careful consideration by the administration, patients have been discharged with considerable concessions on their total bills.
