We firmly believe that only way to empower parents and general public against illnesses and health hazards is through imparting knowledge. We intend to continue our effort to educate general public in health related issues. Our activities are also planned keeping in mind the betterment of children.

OPD

MCCHRC OPD is available on from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on all weekdays. 

On Sundays, under the Free OPD scheme, introduced by our Chairman cum Managing Director, we provide free pediatric OPD consultation to 10 children who belong to the financially weaker section of the society. 

Supporting Communities with Free Healthcare Services

  • Free consultation for relief camp inmates during the ongoing crisis
  • Free hospital treatment and stay for relief camp inmates in Pediatric General Wards
  • Free health camps in peripheral rural areas during natural as well as man-made disaster

Ambulance Service

Since 2013, our hospital has been providing free ambulance services  for all the pediatric patients. The service is made available to  IPD patients, the cost of which is entirely borne by the hospital. The ambulance is well-equipped with full life support appliances, including Monitor, Oxygen and Ambu bags. For time being, the service is available within Imphal city only.

Cashless Admission

At MCCHRC, we do not charge any deposits at time of admission of the patients. We ensure that the child receives primary attention including ICU care if necessary.

ORS Week 2024

ORS Week Celebration: “Diarrhoea Ki Roktham, Safai Aur ORS Se Rakhen Apna Dhyaan”

Mother’s Care Children Hospital and Research Centre (MCCHRC) successfully celebrated ORS Week on Saturday, 27th July 2024, under the theme: “ORS: Diarrhoea Ki Roktham, Safai Aur ORS Se Rakhen Apna Dhyaan.” Organized in collaboration with the Pediatric Association of Manipur (PAM), the event aimed to raise awareness about the critical role of Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) in preventing and managing diarrhoea.

Dr. Kh. Ratankumar Singh as Resource Person on ORS Week Celebration.

As a continuation of our activity, ORS week Celebration was held on the 25th of July, 2010 at the premises of the hospital. Discussion based mainly on the benefit of Oral Rehydration Solution, known as ORS in the combat of severe Diarhoea both in Children and Adults was held amongst the staffs with Dr. Kh. Ratankumar Singh, CMD, MCCHRC as the main resource person. This celebration happens every year.

Painting Competition on the occasion of Children Day Celebration

On the 14th of November every year, MCCHRC organizes and sponsors a painting competition to nurture and encourage the creativity of children. The Management provided painting materials like colours, pencils, writing boards, etc. and special prizes are distributed along with light refreshments at the end of the day.

Free Medical Check-Up for Displaced Children Organized at G.P. Women’s College

Free Medical Check-up for 50 numbers of Displaced Children done by Mother’s Care Children Hospital & Research Centre, Sagolband Moirang Leirak, Imphal at One-Day Event for Displaced Children (3-8 years) staying in relief camps at Imphal on 19th November 2023 at G.P. Women’s College, Imphal organized by Department of Home Science, G.P. Women’s College, Dhamanjuri University in collaboration with Mother’s Care Children Hospital and Research Centre and sponsored by Department of Social Welfare, Government of Manipur.

Free Cardiac Health Camp Organized by Mother’s Care Children Hospital and Imphal Heart Institute

Mother’s Care Children Hospital & Research Centre organized a Free Cardiac Health Camp in association with the Imphal Heart Institute on 18th January 2023, at our Community Outreach Centre, Itam Nungoi, Imphal East.

Mega Health Camp at Kakching concluded successfully with over 250 attendees benefitting from the consultation with our esteemed Doctors at Mother’s Care Children Hospital and Research Centre and Imphal Heart Institute.
